The happy couple
After 3 years of dating and travels in eight countries, our Love Birds are ready to share their commitment with those closest to them. The wedding will be intimate and what you would see in a European village, honoring their ancestors and the traditions that came before.
LOCATION: Christ Episcopal Church
534 W. 10th Street, Dallas, TX 75208
DATE/TIME: Saturday, April 25th, 2026 4:30pm
RECEPTION: following the ceremony; at our house across the street, 505 W. 10th Street - in our backyard.
Plan for clothes and shoes that are appropriate for outdoors.
DRESS CODE: ladies-- wear a flower crown -- ask Charlcye for info. Comfy shoes for backyard/outdoor.
PARKING: in church parking lot or along the street.
GATHER: 4:30PM in our front yard for the bagpipe processional.
SEATING: you are all our people, sit where you want; there is no bride's side or grooms' side.
BEVERAGES: our Ceremony and Reception will be a sober, substance-free event aiming for a natural, embodied connection to us and to other guests, the music and self.
FOOD: our reception will have tacos and elotes for carnivores, vegetarians, and vegans, with gluten-free and nut-free options. We've got you covered.
How we met
It's all because of Chip. He and Charlcye met in 1991 while working at Bennigan's Tavern - they quickly adopted each other as family, not just best friends. Chip met Tom in 2015 and they were instant friends and foodie buddies. Then in 2022, Chip started inviitng both of the Love Birds to hang out with him. They became good firends then realized they "like liked" each other and love bloomed.

Our engagement
On December 4th, 2025, the 3rd Anniversary of dating, Tom proposed to Charlcye at their favorite Dallas restaurant, The Charles. This is a recurring place for celebrating their birthdays and key dates. If you haven't been - invite these two!
